Our mission at The Green Room is to provide our readers with a deeper dive into the personal lives and careers of the artists we work with. With that said, we are proud to present our first video story featuring French indie-electronic composer CloZee. The Green Room team was fortunate enough to catch up with CloZee ahead of her recent tour stop in New York City. She shared stories about her travels all over the world, how different cultures inspire her both personally and musically, and some of her specific inspirations from around the world that found their way into the album. Without further adieu, Green Room Stories Presents: CloZee.
About the Album:
CloZee released released her debut album Evasion in early October, and shortly thereafter embarked on a 40+ date North American headline tour of the same name. The ten track album emanates her signature “world bass” sound and takes listeners on an international sonic journey. Each track pulls inspiration from different parts of the world, CloZee’s life experiences and local sounds from her travels.
Every song on Evasion lends itself to a different cultural sound. CloZee’s intentions are to transport listeners to various destinations through her music and to teach them about various cultures through her eyes and ears. Though it’s packed with incredibly diverse sounds and styles, Evasion is a unified work which blends all cultural influences, genres and instruments into an international work of art.
